Our mission is to empower young girls through the sport of wrestling. Our program is dedicated to fostering physical strength, mental resilience, and self-confidence. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where young girls and women can develop their skills, build lifelong friendships, and embrace the values of teamwork, determination, and leadership. By instilling these values in our athletes, we aim to develop not only skilled wrestlers, but respectful, resilient, and compassionate individuals who will make a positive impact on and off the mat.
In 2023, Matt Dragon, in collaboration with Upper Dublin Youth Wrestling, established the DragonFly Wrestling Club with the primary objective of creating a secure and inclusive environment for female wrestlers participating in the Inter-County Wrestling League. With 40 state high school associations now sanctioning the sport and several others putting it on the sanctioning track, girls' wrestling has become the fastest-growing high school sport in the country.

The aim is to eliminate any obstacles preventing young girls from becoming involved in the sport of wrestling. The club eagerly anticipates your participation and looks forward to welcoming you to the wrestling community!
